For pure myr destruction card ideas, I refer you to my old myr deck. https://www.mtgvault.com/gar/decks/myr-destruction/

Interesting deck idea. Might want a Helm of the Host in there. Can then create copies of legendary creatures used by you and your opponents too. Once you have Helm of the Host make a nonlegendary copy of a legendary you can start using Esix, Fractal Bloom's ability to copy that nonlegendary token. Just think of the devastation you could cause with an army of Jedit Ojanen of Efrava, especially if you then removed Helm of the Host from Jedit after making the first copy so that your army can become self replicating.Full breakdown of above example: Equip Jedit with Helm of the Host in precombat main phase to get free nonlegendary token copy during combat phase. Next turn use Stolen by the Fae to bounce Jedit back to hand during precombat main phase so it's no longer equipped, Esix allows you to then target the Jedit token as the target of it's ability and you get 6 extra nonlegendary Jedit tokens from the Stolen by the Fae. Every future turn where Esix's ability isn't used before combat you then get to start having Jedit army's tokens come in as even more Jedits.Just food for thought on one great way said artifact could be super useful in this deck.
Thank you.
Given that 3 mana is all it takes to get Omnath going, there are nonland mana sources, and multiple nonlands that become powerful mana generating lands I have never had issues with lack of mana when playing this deck.
Indeed it is, which is why this deck does not have a format set. Just a build I threw together for fun.
Phage's ability that would make me lose the game is overwritten by the use of Angel's Grace or Platinum Angel since those specifically say I can't lose the game. If I have immunity to losing the game, then an effect that would make me lose the game simply has no effect. No different than a "destroy" effect on something with indestructible. So long as I have Platinum Angel on the field, and/or Angel's Grace active, Phage can't kill me. Same would be the case if my opponent used one of them against me on the turn Phage does damage to them, they would be immune to that lose effect of hers.
With the high land ramp this deck has, using Liege of the Tangle could be useful. Turn all your lands into 8/8 creatures to attack or block as needed.
As a heads up, your companion Kaheera, the Orphanguard should be in your sideboard, not your command zone. Companion cards come from outside the game until you pay to bring them in, at which point they become a standard card in the deck. Having your companion listed in your command zone makes it potentially unclear which creature is meant to be the commander, and can potentially cause less knowledgeable players to think that the companion works like a second commander (going to command zone, being replayable after death/exile, etc), which it does not.
You are quite welcome.
Yes, so long as you ninjutsu while her effect is on the stack still. Each of her effects happen in order. Combat damage dealt -> Exile creature with hit counter -> See if they have 3 exiled creatures with hit counters -> Shuffle her into deck. By using ninjutsu at the right time, you remove her from the zone (in play) that she needs to be in for the shuffle into deck stage to happen. You then skip the sending her to deck part of that step since there's no longer a valid target in play for said effect to resolve. So for clarification, the effect order is: Combat damage dealt -> Exile creature with hit counter -> See if they have 3 exiled creatures with hit counters -> Ninjutsu her back to hand to interrupt the stack -> Shuffle deck.
Official ruling on Etrata has been made that states "If Etrata leaves the battlefield while its triggered ability is on the stack, it remains in its new zone and Etrata’s owner shuffles their library.". Source: https://gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=452920Official ruling on ninjutsu has been made that states "The ninjutsu ability can be activated during the declare blockers step, combat damage step, or end of combat step. If you wait until after the declare blockers step, because all combat damage is dealt at once, the Ninja won’t normally deal combat damage.". Source: https://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=464153Given those rulings, you declare ninjutsu after Etrata has dealt damage, but before her effect on the stack resolves. Doing so sends her to a new zone (your hand), after she exiles opponent's creature, but before she would've gone to the deck. You still shuffle deck as normal though.
Thanks for suggesting Morophon, the Boundless. Combining it with Jodah, Archmage Eternal will allow many free casts.
True, but I had a hard time narrowing down the creature list as it was with just the vampires. The tiny number of nonvampires in it all serve specific purposes, and I didn't want to over complicate it with shapeshifters too.
added the baubles and removed some of the bigger units for speed and a bit of control
was going for a no mana generation deck, so while those would make it function faster they'd also kill the idea behind the deck.
as it says in the description, i was bored and wanted to try something different
read the how to play and pay attention. Mycosynth Golem gives all of your artifact creatures affinity for artifacts.
if you toss in a death's presence you can double the counters he gets from your creatures dying
the galvanizers do that for me
