Ob nixilus, Unshackled and Maralen of the Mornsong

Hi, Ob nixilus has the effect that when an opponent searches his or her library for a card they lose ten life. Maralen has an effect where players can't draw cards but they search their library for a card and lose 3 life. Would these two cards on the field cancel each other out, or would they still lose ten life after finding the card they want?

They won't cancel each other.
You opponent will loose 3 life, must search his library for a card (He doesn't have to find a card but he is forced to search it), the Ob-Nixilis comes on the stack and forces him to loose 10 life and sacrifice a creature.
