Killing Indestructible Creatures?
Let's say an opponent has an indestructible 5/5 on the field and he attacks me. I block with a 4/7. Since being indestructible only prevents lethal damage, can I use a Tragic Slip to give it -1/-1 and thus kill it?

Unfortunately no, as it'll be a 4/4 with lethal damage (the previous 4) on it. So it lives.

You can always block with something smaller to trigger morbid on Tragic Slip so it will actually die though.

If an indestructible creature has a spell target it, that puts it's current toughness to 0 or lower, it would be sent to the graveyard. this is not considered lethal damage.
