The idea of this deck is it is meant to be a gift for my nephew's brithday. He is 13 and he got a liking of the game. He would see me come over with all these cards I got from the fnm I was comming back from and the fact that I go to different places having fun and getting a bunch of free stuff got his attention. He is from a small town, and what kid growing up in a boring ass small town doesn't want to see other places.
I have a question. I was thinking of giving him this deck and then taking him to a big event so he could have the feel for winnning 1st place at the top level. My question is, can I be in his corner helping him out? Telling him what cards to play and when to play them, and what cards to side board in? I figure winning like that will boost his confidence. He is a bright kid with a lot of potential. He just needs to believe in himself. I may give him a different but also very strong deck.
