People Abusing Downvotes

Before you read this post, look at all the comments on this deck

Almost every single comment is downvoted into oblivion by trolls- Most of the comments aren't even downvote-worthy IMO. But what's to stop people by doing this over and over?

EDIT: NVM IGNORE THE ABOVE PART, YOU'VE OBVIOUSLY NOTICED :P

I don't know how this would be stopped, but maybe if each person got a daily quantity of downvotes it would work?

Yeah, we noticed. Every time things like this happen it's soul destroying. We have to spend time fixing issues like this rather than working on new features, frustrating. :(

We will be putting something in place to only allow certain users to down vote comments, for example rep is something we could use to determine if a user is trusted enough to use certain features. This will stop multis from trolling us all.

What do down votes do? All I know is so people say some stupid stuff and, it's now wonder they go down votes. ":D

Once a comment gets -3 it becomes "exiled" and shrinks the page up. The idea was to have community moderated comments but instead people are abusing it.
