Old Goblindeck needs some Critique

Sooo since my friends started to play MTG some weeks ago i searched for my old cards and voila i found them.

And there i found my old and loved Goblin Deck. Since then i worked on it and als got some new cards for it (Krenko for example).
Still i found i had no chance agaisnt the new Decks of my friends with all those fancy new stuff like Deathtouch and so on.

So i rebuilt it completely and now want some advice from experienced players on how to improve it even more. So here is the list:

Creatures:
1x Emberwilde Augur
3x Goblin Arsonist
1x Goblin Glider
2x Goblin Grappler
1x Goblin Sky Raider
1x Goblin Warchief
1x Krenko, Mob Boss
1x Reckless One
1x Siege-Gang Commander
1x Skirk Shaman

Enchantment
1x Orcish Oriflamme
2x Rise of the Hobgoblins

Sorcery
2x Dragon Fodder
2x Goblin Rally
2x Goblin War Strike
3x Krenko's Command
1x Lava Axe
1x Volcanic Hammer

Land
18x Mountain

That are 45 Cards right now.

I wanted to get those Cards when i have the Chance, so that theDeck goes up to 50:

2x Siege-Gang Commander
1x Goblin Warchief
2x Goblin Lackey

you need 60 cards for a legal deck. Also you posted in de standard legal deck development section and your cards aren't standard legal.

that said goblins is still the best aggro deck that exists, if you were to play it like they do at legacy tournaments there's no way any standard deck is going to beat you. The downside is that such a deck packs a lot of expensive cards.
However you don't need to play the most expensive goblins for them to be good, there's been so many goblins printed over the years that you got a lot to work with. Look at the black goblins printed in Lorwyn block. They are cheap and still very good.

just google for goblin decks and budget goblin deck, you'll find tons of usefull stuff.

Oh boy im sorry to hear that. I thought it was a standard Deck.... my fault :/ Maybe someone could move the thread? That would be really really great. So what kind of deck is it anways?

I will clearly google that and hope to find something helpfull! Also i will test my Deck in 3 weeks again with some games.

Thanks for your Advice :)

Casual players usually don't stick to tournament formats like standard but some do. You can find out what formats there are and what's legal within those formats on the wizards of the coast website.

Check out the Prowl mechanic from lorwyn block, goblins like Stinkdrinker Bandit and Earwig Squad have it and it's a pretty strong mechanic that mixes well with all goblins. The only downside is that you'll have to build a red/black deck instead of a mono red deck which makes the mana base more complicated.

here I created a Lorwyn-ish goblin/rogue deck for you, it's pretty cheap and you could make it mono black to make it even cheaper. As it is it uses 8 dual lands that costs a few $ each.

here you can see the deck in detail: http://deck.tk/8r2t6ySA

4 Prickly Boggart
4 Auntie's Snitch
4 Stinkdrinker Bandit
4 Frogtosser Banneret
4 Mad Auntie
2 Boggart Mob
3 Earwig Squad

1 Krenko, Mob Boss

1 Wort, Boggart Auntie

4 Goblin Ringleader

1 Cloak and Dagger

4 Nameless Inversion
2 Tarfire
1 Goblin Grenade
1 Fodder Launch

4 Auntie's Hovel
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
9 swamp
3 mountain

Lot's of creatures can be played for their cheaper prowl cost so the mana curve is deceiving. I included Krenko because you already have him and because he's very strong but the double red cost can be problematic in a mostly black deck.

Note that Nameless Inversion counts as a goblin card for cards like Goblin Ringleader and Wort, Boggart Auntie.

Oh wow! Prowl is pretty neat! =O Never heared of it before.

Thanks a lot for your help, looks like a great deck to annoy some friends :D

Never knew there were so much black goblins.... Missed a lot the last years... :)

Wort Boggart Auntie is a really neat card... Its like having eternal Goblins... ;)

The Idea of black and red is great... i wouldnt want to miss Krenko in a goblin deck, as you said he is damn strong and a huge help, once you have him out... He just needs 2 red mana... so i think it will be not a huge problem to get him on the field...

Seriously, is this a real question for the eternal format or just a rebound noob chucking together some goblins purchased as singles from your local mom n pop shop?

Did you bother to do a search online for Legacy Goblins before you posted this thread? I think not as your list is MILES away from anything playable in the format.

Here is a tip: Google: MTG LEGACY GOBLINS and read the first 5 posts that pop up and then build a deck from what you have learned and repost his thread...
