U/W/G Control - Seeking Advice

Hi, I am just easing back into MTG after a long hiatus since a few friends offered to basically build me whatever I want (they have stupid huge collections).

I don't know much about the game currently but I was casually observing some games at my local store and I have an idea of what is "common". I would like to stay a bit away from that since it is just not fun for me to play what everyone else is.

I also vastly prefer Control since it is the way I play all games. So I made this deck by checking the Type 2 Legal stuff, let me know what you think.

4 Sphere of Safety
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Pacifism
3 Nevermore
1 Defang

4 Gatecreeper Vine
4 Fog Bank
2 Drogskol Reaver

4 Glacial Fortress
4 Hallowed Fountain
4 Temple Garden
3 Forest
3 Plains
2 Island

3 Azorius Keyrune
3 Selesnya Keyrune

4 Azorius Charm
2 Sphinx's Revelation

2 Creeping Renaissance

I will say first thing, I am on the fence about a lot of this and I am not experienced with the current meta etc.

The idea is to stay alive early and lock down mid-late with Enchants while I either kill with the Keyrunes or wait for the Reaver if needed.

I put Green in the deck for ramp up and a bit of thinning. I chose the Keyrunes over Creatures because they can duck Sorceries as far as removal and they're useful when not being animated as well.

Creatures are cheap blockers, one who sticks around or forces a spell and the other thins a bit. I picked Reaver because I thought he was a good game ender in terms of evasion and utility as well as damage.

The Enchants are all for Control. I noticed a lot of decks seem to ride mana light so Sphere can really be something to think about. In the case of decks that can put out 1-2 big hitters, I can bounce, exile or neuter them.

Charms and Revelation is for draw but also staying alive via bounce and life gain.

Lands, nothing to amazing. I have a feeling it could be better in some way though.

Creeping is so I can get Enchants back for whatever reason. It's a little expensive but it has Flashback and I think it's a nice way to reuse my cards without self bouncing. It's also an easy side out if I need to put in Graveyard hate.

I don't have a Sideboard at this time since I'd rather focus on the mainboard first.

So, what can I do better? Is this a bad idea, in terms of using the Enchants? What am I likely to suffer against and can this be fixed before reaching to my sideboard?

Also if this idea isn't so great, what are some other control decks? I know there is a more standard U/W that uses Angels but I don't really like it personally.

Thanks!
