It's a hard decision for me... I would have to say Sword of Fire And Ice for sure, but Counterspell, and Lightning Bolt are close behind just for personal favorites. I know counterspell and and lightning bolt are pretty common cards but they are too useful and fun to use in any deck with their colors =p

I have to agree with you that Lightning Bolt is a very fun card to play. My favorite though would have to Wurmcoil Engine. Nothing like a 6/6 Lifelink and Deathtouch that splits when it dies. I'm running 4 of them in my colorless tron deck. I do like the card Mine, Mine, Mine also, but that is only for casual.

Ulamog, the infinite Gyre is my favourite. I love the characters in here. And also nice graphics... :)

Huntmaster of the Fells. I don't care how great he is as much as I love the flavor. Even without flavor text, the art alone tells its own story. Not to mention the storm crow in the background.

My favorite is Strength of Lunacy just because it was just a card I looked at when I first started playing and went, " This card is soo awesome" plus I love the artwork.

Playstyle answer would probably be Sarkhan the Mad, versatile yet reckless... if you don't take a risk you don't get a reward.

I think for me it has to be an old card and I mean from right at the beginning of the game, it has to be either Sylvan Library or Howling Mine. I know there are many cards that have the same effect nowadays but the originals are the best...
