Call to the Kindred Counterspell
Call to the Kindred! Although this is a triggered ability and cannot be countered unless by something that specifically targets abilities such as Stifle; can the creature itself being brought into play with Call to the Kindred be counterspelled just like most other creatures?

No it cannot. A creature spell or a noncreature spell can only be countered if it was cast, and the creature is not cast in this scenario, it is just put into play.

Just a small addition. A creature card is only actually a spell when it is cast. If you put a creature card into play without casting it, such as with Call to the Kindred, it goes from a creature card in your library to a creature card [and creature now] on the battlefield. It doesn't ever become a spell in this instance.
