Not bad! Good advice would be to have a certain theme you play around, so you are consistant in doing what you want. For example:

This is my deck, it's called BLUE LEAK! and the point or 'theme' of it is to destroy or 'mill' their library so they lose by not being able to draw a card by their turn, that is of course, if I don't kill them first.
Cards like Jace's Phantasm gain +4/+4 when the opponents graveyard is 10 cards or more, so since I have 4 Jace's Phantasm and many other cards (including 4 mind sculpt) you can see how this would be damning. Also, take a look at my Planeswalker card, Jace, Memory Adept. See what it can do besides just being a creature, etc.
And when you get that theme figured out, post it in the deck description, people are more willing to give it likes.
Anyways, hope that helped, that's what I've learned in my short time here so far.

thx man. i just started so i have like no cards lol. but the "theme" of this deck i guess would be to get talrand on the field and cast as many spells as i can to get more drake tokens. add the leviathan and i can make it so unless my opponent has creatures with flying or islandwalk, they cant attack me. hydrosure, unsummon and my damage spells are good defense against creatures and i have plenty of counter spells

A token deck eh? Not too shabby.
