Question about legality
As the title describes I wonder how legality works on magic cards.
For example when I search for the card "Mystical Tutor" on the swedish MTG page www.svenskamagic.com the legality is shown like this:
Standard: Not legal
Extended: Not legal
Modern: Not legal
Legacy: Bannad
Vintage: Restricted
EDH / Commander: Legal
So I wonder what these different things mean when it comes to building a deck.

they are all tournament formats, if you don't build in function of playing a tournament under the rules of one of these formats you can pretty much play any card you like. Most casual players however do prefer to stick to what is legal in Vintage and Legacy and they stick to vintage restriction rules meaning if it is restricted in Vintage you can play only 1 in your deck unless it's not banned in one of the other formats (like legacy) then you can play 4 even if it is restricted in Vintage. The reason for this is that cards that are banned in every format and restricted in vintage are just to powerful to play as a full set, they break the balance of the game. There is little point in calling it a casual deck if you are playing cards that are so broken they are concidered to unfair for tournament play.
