RW Humans, Please help

Like I said in the description, I don't play standard very much. This is my first crack at a standard deck in a ]while and I'm struggling. Any input on what to take out/ put in will be greatly appreciated. Budget really isn't a factor at all so if there are any cards that would improve please let me know!

Given the low curve of your deck, I would suggest replacing the lightning maulers with Champions of the Parish, and dropping a singular plains and mountain for Slayers' Strongholds. The Strongholds will give a creature a power boost, plus vigilance and haste, should you need them. If you find it easier to get a hold of Riders of Gavony, use those because giving all of your humans protection from a creature type can quickly swing a game.

I would probably drop the doomed travelers for Champions of Perish
Then id drop the dangerous wagers for either oblivion rings or maybe even mentor of meek of u still want draw power

A friend of mine runs a very nasty boros humans deck, it looks something like this

4x Champion of the Parish
3x Gideon's Lawkeeper
3x Thalia, Knight Captain
4x Lightning Mauler
2x Accorder Paladin
4x Silverblade Paladin
3x Fiend Hunter
2x Hero of Bladehold
1x Hero of Oxidd Ridge
2x Zealous Conscripts

4x Gather the Townsfolk
4x Shock
1x Divine Deflection

4x Clifftop Retreat
4x Cavern of Souls
1x Slayer's Stronghold
8x Plains
6x Mountain

It's very creature heavy but makes use of creatures as creature removal so it can work around Thalia. The only deck i have that can contend with this one consistently is my r/b vampires. before AVR came around and boros humans werent around in standard, i had to put away my r/b vampires since i had nothing to contend with, it was all domination all the time (not fun knowing the outcome of every match before you sit down to play it).
