Deck Challenge: Nicol Bolas


I was Visiting a friend the other day, and while we were looking through my card's and i told him i wanted to make a deck with nicol bolas. ANd his reply was, that this card was completely trash, nothing. so i thought maybe some of you could build one.

Build a deck with nicol bolas in it. the trick,, only type 2.

Nicol Bolas Planeswalker is one of the strongest cards ever. I've won so many games on the back of that card. Might not be great for tournament play but in multiplay/EDH/anything that requires decks that can handle late game play Bolas dominates.

I would love to enter this competition but the Type 2 restriction sucks, big!! pfff I'll create a deck anyway. I don't undrstand why you choose Type 2 though. Control in Type 2 is dead at the moment and Bolas is a card that needs a control deck to support it. So basically you want a deck that will loose to aggro, always!

Here is my Nicol Bolas Deck. :D

Should curve out ok. Has control elements with permanent blockers to protect the big guy. May actually be playable in a FNM environment. Didn't include a sideboard. LMK if I need to.

doesnt revolve around nicol bolas but time warps allow u to use ability several times in a row. really more of a cruel deck but he is an additional win condition.

I chosse type 2 because in my opinion you have to be not talented but good, at least decent at building deck's. cause you really don't have many selection's. But so far everyone of you have shut my friend up.

Nicol Bolas has been my favorite since Legends came out.... here's my Type two take. I love my Hellkite Overlords so I put a splash of green just for them and a couple other jund goodies

I dont like the type 2 restriction, but heres what i came up with.
