Untapping lands

Just wondering can I use the land the turn it's untapped or will i be restricted to using it for flash summons or instants in my opponents turn?


The main card in my mind regarding this is "Krosan Restorer"

If you find a way to untap your tapped land, like with the abilities on Krosan Restorer, then you may tap them for mana again whenever you please.
