Dark Ascension Sacrifice Deck variants
Just started Magic last week, bought myself a Dark Sacrifice deck. Primed and tested it, was pretty okay for a while, but I found the mana flooding to be a little too off-putting. Got friends at my local club who say I should be headed for a white-strong deck, with Champion of the Parish, Honor of the Pure, Doomed Traveler and Intangible Virtue as my mains.
I was wondering, as it is a white/black deck, if there are any stronger variants I could work to. I am a moderately defensive player that likes to remove the defenders first then attack. Suggestions would be much appreciated..

Hi you might want to take a look at my deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=297393. It's my first attempt at building a deck and it kinda fits what you want. For a more offensive option, you might want to take out Ravenous Demon and a Thraben Doomsayer for Tragic slips or Dead weight, both of which were my original options for creature removal, together with skirsdag flayer.
Any suggestions for my sideboard or improvement to my main deck would be greatly appreciated too!
