If you're using a green and/or black deck you could try a sideboard with artifacts? You could try to working in some enchantment destroying cards to deal with Angelic Destiny, which makes Mirran Crusader less of a threat. From my understanding of protection, global effect cards that don't specifically target or specifically damage the card with protection. So, you could use cards like Mutilate that give all creatures -1/-1 for each swamp you control could still kill Mirran Crusader because it is not targeting nor damaging.

well with vampires or werewolves you can splash some red and use direct damage to deal with things like the crusader

I've decided to sideboard four Naturalize, and four Combust. Hopefully that will do some damage. What do you guys think of Mask of Avcyn? I could use it to hexproof StromKirk Noble and then laugh as it gets bigger. Or I could hexproof Mayor of A. and watch him spawn wolves all the time.

I can't figure out what to sideboard in. They just drop Crusader and Destiny it for a 6/6 double striking flyer that is pro green and black. Why did WotC print that card anyway? It doesn't seem fair for green or black decks at all.[/QUOTE]

that's why people prefer to play multicolored decks, 3 colors is a nice balance between power and mana base stability.
Crusader isn't that unfair, it's good but not anywhere near over the top.

besides what happened to UB control? is't that a great way to beat mono white. just counter their best spells and beat them to death with snapcaster. seams to work in any format :)

Also I would think that GR werewolfs has a good matchup against a deck with those cards. you have red to remove creatures and green to remove artifacts and enchantments.

Humans are simple to beat. if you want to use vampires, Stromkirk noble is the anti humans on his own....

use tumble magnets, tap them before they can attack... ancient grudge drops their sword in a boss for red... a simple glavanic blast laughs at a crusader, for a measly 1 red, or a shock...
