Mimic Vat + Helvault
Mimic Vat:

Helvault:

If I create a token with Mimic Vat, then exile it with Helvault before end of turn, does it still return as if nothing had happened when Helvault leaves the field?

No. If a token leaves the battlefield, it can never be returned.

I have the same question. However, the info sethbodine gave is not fully correct. He is correct in the sense that when a token is taken out of play it resolves and that means it's bye-bye. However, when something is exiled it is neither in play or taken out of play. Things don't resolve when exiled, so the token never has the chance to resolve yet. That is the official ruling on the exiled zone, however, a lot of players feel the same as sethbodine. So it is a coin toss.

I strongly doubt this is true. Exiled cards go to the exile zone as by the M10 rules, which means they undergo a zone change and trigger zone change effects. If a creature is on the battlefield and it has a leave play triggered ability like lets say reveillark this ability is triggered when reveillark gets exiled by a card like swords to plowshares.

If tokens leave play, they cease to exist. Regardless of which zone they went to. They still trigger relevant zone changes like "when a creature dies" effects but as soon as state based actions are checked, they just cease to exist.

If you want to have fun with helvault go for creatures like ball lightning or creatures like Hell's Thunder after unearth, Hit with them, if they dont die use vault for a future hit, with a bit of preparing it works.
If you want to have fun with mimic vat go for sundial of the infinite
Best regards

Vines, just as an fyi, the word resolved only applies to spells and abilities on the stack. Once a spell or ability has finished resolving, it has done what it is going to do and the object involved goes where it's supposed to, i.e. the battlefield for permanents, the graveyard for spells, and abilities just....stop being on the stack.
