I'd say go :manab::manau:.

You can get mana acceleration in :manab::manau: with Mitotic Manipulation. Most people don't think about getting a basic land with it, but I've been doing it a lot recently in a :manau::manar: deck and it helps immensely. Since you need Metalcraft for the Argent Sphinx's ability to work, you can also get plenty of mana acceleration with artifacts: Mox Opal, Sphere of the Suns, Manalith, Alloy Myr, Silver Myr, Leaden Myr and Traveler's Amulet. Definitely a lot you can use to get mana of whatever colors you need. You can also use Phyrexian Metamorph to copy any of those artifacts that you need another instance of on the battlefield.

Black also has the boardwipe you need: Black Sun's Zenith and Life's Finale. Black Sun's Zenith is going to be faster and give you the option of doing it multiple times, but Life's Finale can have a greater effect since it not only destroys creatures, but also lets you strip three more from an opponent's deck.

With creatures that you run, I'd look into creatures that can regenerate (or find ways to regenerate them such as Skeletal Grimace), are indestructible (which can also give you Metalcraft since most indestructible creatures are artifacts like Blightsteel Colossus, Darksteel Juggernaut and Manor Gargoyle), creatures that have an effect when they die so you'll actually benefit from the boardwipe (Oculus, Darkslick Drake and Blistergrub) and/or various ways to resurrect your creautres (Reassembling Skeleton resurrects on his own, Unburial Rites gets you a creature back as does Gravedigger.)

You've got mana, boardwipe and power. Hope that helps.
