First EDH Deck Suggestions - Uril (surprise surprise!)

Hey all!

Im new to EDH and to the site here so I just wanted to put up the link to my first EDH deck and see if you guys had any suggestions for me.

Ive been playing MTG on and off for a really long time so Im far from new to the game but EDH was just introduced to me and Ive rapidly become addicted to the format. Ive always loved Uril but havent had much reason to use him before so it was fun to build a deck around him, even though Ive since realized that he is actually one of the most popular EDH generals.

Id really like to go more enchantment heavy and have a bunch of ideas but was wondering what the folks here thought.

Just took a quick look at it and I can already see some things you may want to consider.

1) add Sensei's Diving Top. It's an amazingly useful artifact that allows you to set up what you draw.

2) remove some lands and add some creatures. 40 lands is a bit much. should run 34 or so.

3) look into the Ravnica cycle mana producing artifacts, and add sol ring. This will help speed along your deck.


Thats my advice to you at the moment. Let me know when you've revised and I'll take another look :)
