Fiery Red/Green Control (75 cards)

Sorry there are no mouse-overs for the cards. I am new to the site and I do not no how to integrate them in this post.

Trying to make a standard Tournament Quality Red/Green Deck. Any comments or suggestion that anyone can give me are welcome and appreciated.

First and foremost, the concept of this deck to basically control the field with constant board wipes in order to stall enough turns to bring out a few heavy creatures and/or burn your opponent swiftly and efficiently.

Using Tree of Redemption as Defenders/ health control
Mimic Vat: Used for many of the "when this enters/leaves the battlefield mechanics" (Emissary, Titan, Solem, Slime) or even to reuse the trees or Balefire's effects.

Mana should not be a problem and a heavy hit with Red Sun's Zenith is quite common. Or even heavy hits with a trampling Kessig Wolf Run.

First of all, you have way too many Red Mana (:manar:) cards when their Green Mana (:manag:) counterparts are so much better. Let's look at them side-to-side.

If your deck is not a dedicated burn deck then dealing one Damage (1) to Target Creature or Player is not as impressive as it sounds. It definitely isn't the board-wipe you mention as being your deck's strategy. Slagstorm does a better job of wiping the board. Getting more Creatures of your own on the Battlefield after a wipe, even if those Creatures are tokens, sounds like it has a better use in your deck. Especially since a lot of your Creatures have a have a heavy four Mana (:mana4:) Cost or more.

Speaking of Creatures and Mana Costs, once again you have picked a burn Spell. It deals X Damage (:manax:) to Target Creature or Player. Only one Target (1). The Green Mana (:manag:) Spell, however, allows you to get a Creature on the Battlefield without having to have it in your Hand. The reasons for having it are the same as above.

I don't know why you have so many burn Spells in your deck. You aren't playing with enough Counters of anything to make real use of the Proliferate Ability on this one. And, seriously, if something survived the three Damage (3) from Slagstorm this won't kill it either. The Green Mana (:manag:) Spell, however, kills just about anything no matter how big it is; the token dies to Slagstorm anyway, so it's not like you're giving your Opponent a huge advantage.

Same deal for this burn Spell as the one above. Fetching a Basic Land is more important for bringing out your Creatures with a heavy four Mana (:mana4:) Cost or more, or feeding into the X Mana (:manax:) Cost Ability on Green Sun's Zenith.

Last, but not least, if you want to make real use of Kessig Wolf Run you can bring it out with this Green Mana (:manag:) Creature, where all the Red Mana (:manar:) Creature does is offer you another unnecessary burn Ability. It might look like a good board-wiping Ability, but it has to Attack your Opponent and deal Damage to them first. The other card is faster, all it needs to do is Attack your Opponent to Trigger its Ability. Plus, the Giant Costs less than the Dragon to Cast.
