Deck Challenge: Humans vs. Zombies
Okay, so I thought up this idea today to make two decks themed around an epic event/battle. For the first event/battle, I've chosen a Zombie Apocalypse, and therefore I am looking for 2 decks to be made, Humans versus Zombies. The idea is to make both decks built to be equally matched, and designed to battle each other (i.e. equipment to kill zombies). I want to be able to for the most part, not go into the fight with the whole, oh I'm playing ____ I'm gonna win mindset.
I also want to set the rules as such.
1. Nothing that is blatantly off the wall, like giving zombies wings, humans with lightning bolts, etc.
2. Can incorporate any colors, but if a color is used it must be used for a human/zombie related spell at least once. i.e. splashing red for furor of the bitten for humans.
3. There are a lot of new humans with innistrad that transform to werewolves, and werewolves deserve their own epic battle. So please refrain from their use.
4. Keep the decks to standard.
5. Think outside the box. For example, you can't literally counterspell a zombie from being created, but you can kill the human before they transform or vaccinate them before they become zombies. Therefore, I'd say that counterspells are relevant. If you use something thats not blatantly apparent, be able to explain it.

I included a traitor, Deranged Assistant, to get it going faster.

This one does have 4 Mayor of Avabruck, yes he's a werewolf lord too, but I felt he was needed. Since I do have the Mayor, I thought Garruk Relentless would be nice, if I don't have spells, and he goes well with the Mentors.
I also kept them both stndard, just so I can use them with people who are just learning. Thanks man, I enjoyed this challenge, and hope I can make that werewolf one...

Human Survival. These are quick cast Human's, meant to get out and assist each other to live. The idea is that you get your mob up quickly, and starting just taking down the zombies before they get to strong. Angry mob at work.

Zombies are taking over. The Humans are hiding. It is only a matter of time before there are only Zombies left.

This is looking great! I think the next deck set will be the "Underworld" Decks. The werewolves and vampires.

That is exactly what I had planned, and what I was hinting at and envisioning when I said that werewolves deserve their own battle :P
I was also thinking earlier today about altering that to a battle mimicking "Priest", which was a good movie in my opinion, and having the battle of Clerics and Priests vs Vampires.

I almost forgot, I have my Zombie deck completed, and ignore the information because I do plan on using the zombie deck outside of this epic battle. I also found that there really isn't anything directly human-hating.
Zombies: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=247446
Explanations -
Caravan Vigil - I picture it as zombies ambushing a caravan that is stopped for the night.
Mimic Vat - In my realm zombies aren't always directly transformed humans.
Parallel Lives - I picture this representing the lives of the human that used to be, and the newly formed zambie. Also, the effect of the enchantment represents how one changed human can ultimately bite and change a second, so in affect they double they zombies.
