MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Vampires in standard
With the rotation of some of the most powerful vampires and the loss of blade of the bloodchiefs, are tribal vampires still able to be a competitive deck? (yes. I realise they were never top teir but they weren't horrible)
I had a lot of fun running mono black vamps in the old setting , but with innistrad introducing a host of red vamps and removing a lot of the more defensive vamps (gahst) and a lot of the evasion vamps (not a lot of fliers at low(ish) costs any more).
The new token system for vamps seems intriging but the lack of vamps with evasion this seems like a hard mechanic to make full effect of.
Must be standard legal.

For those that are interested this is what i have come up with so far , its far from perfect and has (and always will have) issues competing vs wolf run ramp or solarflare, but hey it's more for the fun than anything else.

Here is my quick attempt. From what I understand of the rules, Bloodlord + Bloodline + Curse of Pierced Heart = 5/5 Flying Vampire. That is not bad I think.

I think this may out run the wolf and maybe even hold off solar flare

I didn't even think about Proliferate when it comes to the vampires counters.
