I'm new also, but the guy teaching has a deck that kills me almost everytime. It won't play super fast, but if you get Sheoldred out there you should be golden. I don't have it in front of me, but it's going to look similar to this:

20 Swamp
1 Army of the Damned
1 Sheoldred
3 Black Sun's Zenith
1 Endless Ranks of the Dead
3 Maw of the Mire
3 Victim of the Night
3 Diabolic Tutor
4 Doom Blade
1 Grave Titan
1 Gravedigger
3 Reassembling Skeleton
1 Royal Assassin (he has some 3 artifacts like royal sceptre, crown, and something that make this guy ridiculous)
1 Chancellor of the Dross
2 Dark Banishing
2 Dredge
1 Feast or Famine
Throw in some quick low cost blockers or instant crap. He seems to get Grave Titan or Sheoldred everytime.

are you wanting it to be type 2 standard, vintage or edh or what playstyle??

Sounds like you need a combo deck. Downside, it will cost you money, it will be difficult to play and you will probably need to play 2 or 3 colors to make it work.

PS: there's probably no such deck in standard

The only combo deck I've found so far in the new format involves Burning Vengeance, and it's more of a combo-control deck. Not easy to play either, though a lot of fun once you get it down. I might build it.

If you like extended it's a deck that will go balls deep in almost any opponent. All the kill of black and speed of red. The new set brings red Vampires that kick fat. If you don't mind vintage throw in terminates. You can build it cheap. You don't need all the stupid stuff. If you can get 4x Captivating Vampires, a couple Bloodline Keepers/ Lord of Lineage then fill it the way you like it could be monstrous. Dont forget Lightning bolt. Short list Nighthawks, Gatekeepers, Child of Night & some good red ones I don't know off hand. Hey it works, fill non-creatures with kill & bolt. Should be as quick as you need it to be.

I think Mono-black zombies is ok. It my friend's build is doing 2-2 or 3-1 in FNM. I don't have his decklist, but it's mostly based around Cemetery Reaper.
