Trying to make something great out of Pentavus...
So the card i'm speaking of is Pentavus.
there are a few cards in particular that i think it goes especially well with, i just can't think of any other things that would go as well with it. the cards i like with it are as follows:
tempered steel: give him and all his little flying pentavite buddies +2/+2
intangible virtue: gives all the tokens he makes +1/+1
fangren marauder: means that whenever he sacs one of the guys he just made, you gain 5 life.
Parallel Lives: everytime you spend one mana to remove a counter, you get 2 1/1 flying tokens, then you can pay another mana to sac one and put a +1/+1 back on him, he can make TONS of these, at 2 colorless mana each per overall net increase in pentavite tokens
grand architect: lets you use the tapping down of your other creatures to get him out faster and make more efficient use of his token creating ability.
and yeah. that's about it as far as cards I'd like to see paired with him. obviously venser would be nice too, as would onyx mage and plenty of others, but i'm almost positive that everyone knows what venser does and why he'd be good with pentavus, as well as why the others would pair well as well.
so looking at this list, i'm left thinking green and something... i do have to get to him fairly quickly, so i'll need the ramp... i'm just not really sure anymore. i guess he could be pretty cool in a pod deck? but i won't be playing a pod deck anytime soon (it's a friend's territory) so that's not really in the realm of possibilities...
basically, what i wanted to know, was, assuming i was forcing you upon pain of death to make a deck with 4 pentavites (as in plural of pentivus, not as in the tokens he makes...) in it, that had a focus around tokens and on ramp along with something to make the deck sustainable, what would you pick, would you use any of the pairings i mentioned, or would you do something different? comments? suggestions? anything really guys. :)
thanks in advanced. :)

Try using splicers and birthing pod? You can add them to the birthing pod list and still use PL to get heaps of stuff, splicers + Precursor golem are great with PL. Geist of St Traft could also work if that is in your colours.

That's a preliminary deck list I came up with. The problem with pentavus is that you could be doing other things, like casting Wurmcoil Engine.

You already seem to have a lot of "Artifact Matters" or "Token Matters" cards. For a second theme, why don't you add a few cards with the Morbid mechanic to take advantage of the Pentavite recycling ability?
P.S. This is what I have so far for Pentavus. It's not much, but it's a start.
Artifacts
4x Memnite
4x Palladium Myr
4x Silver Myr
4x Pentavus
Creatures
4x Grand Architect
4x Treasure Mage
4x Fangren Marauder
Land
10x Island
10x Forest
4x Hinterland Harbor
Spells
4x Rampant Growth
4x Caravan Vigil

I think thopter assembly would be a good alternative or complementary card, just to avoid nevermore or lobotomy effects on your pentavus that can destroy your chance of winning. Obviously it doesn't work with morbid but fit well with the other cards in the deck.

I think you mean Stony Silence, not Nevermore.

Also. The main problem is: how do you win if they managed to deactivate your pentavus? That's why I suggested a possible alternative win condition, maybe only in the sideboard. A backup plan if you want.
