Post-Rotation Birthing Pod?

Hello ladies and gents. Got a wicked deal on some birthing pods and I'm wondering what devious plans you guys got set aside for it once things start cycling.

The only thing I could come up with is Obstinate Baloth being replaced with Hollowhenge Scavenger to gain back some life. Also, I think Morbid is pretty insane with the whole birthing pod mechanic, especially Caravan Vigil.

I so want to make a bant-pod token deck too with parallel lives, blade splicer, hero, cackling counterpart, and even Mausoleum Guard.

Why don't you check out my BPod deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=204340
It's a bit different than the "Traditional" ones, but it works awesome!

I brewed up a few decks today but I haven't tested them. Feel free to try them, I could use the feedback. There is a splicer based deck and a Bant Deck that pods up a few good finishers. I used mimic vat and nim deathmantle in both because I like the recursion, but feel free to sub them out for other tech if you like.

Neither is final and has suggestions for cards that are not final. Sorry if the format is off but this is my first post.

Nim Deathmantle seems a little bit slow for this deck, might be better to cut it for more creatures. Do you really think that Vamps/Zeds/Wolfies are gonna be popular enough to run two Fiend Hunters? If so, rock 'em, but if not I'd put 'em to the sideboard if not cut them entirely. Also, if you're running bant, a one-of Elesh Norn is not a bad idea. Snapcaster seems kind of poor in this deck sadly, it's more cut out for aggro-control or control. Spellskite seems fine as maybe a one-of. Pod's hard to build, but since you can rock a bunch of silver bullets it's still pretty good. ooh, Deceiver Exarch and Solemn Simulacrum should be under consideration for sure. also, definitely 1-2 more Phantasmal Images, that card is awesome. Viridian Emissary's pretty good in this deck too. Sorry for the rambling, I'm just typing as I think.

Fiend hunters have been pretty kind to me so far, but pretty useful too. I agree that phantasmal images rock hard. Elesh Norn is a great finisher and kills weenies (GW Human weenie is strong, and fast) and provides inevitability. I want to see what shows up at events this weekend and see if there is anything good brought to the table. I want to run a skaab ruinator in most of my pod decks now because they are a great 3 drop!
