Deck Like History / Deck Comments Inbox
Hello,
I've added a couple of features - one of which is semi-temporary !
Deck like history will display a simple list of all the decks which you have well, liked ! This does not include comments on decks which you have liked though.
Deck Comments Inbox is a list of all decks which have had comments since you last logged in. So if you look at this list, log out then log back in, it will reset. This is a temporary solution, which in hindsight, I should have made a LONG time ago!
Hope these features fill a few holes in the system, let me know what you think!
Cheers
Ian

This is an awesome idea--it can get tedious sifting through pages of decks to see if someone has commented with a question or something. This change will make it a lot easier for people to dialogue about their decks.

It might just be me, but while the new feature is awesome, it's a little finicky. I've had a few decks get comments, but not show up in the inbox. Might you guys be able to queue up the inbox "permanently" until we check the decks?
Like I said, it's an amazing new feature, just a little finicky...

It's really only a temporary page until we get proper notifications working via email, facebook style etc. I just suddenly had a brain wave on how we can get something to work in the meantime.
I'll have a ponder about "marking read" a deck, but it will require some messing around with the UI (adding buttons, checkboxes etc).
What I COULD do, is maybe show all decks with comments in say, last 24-48 hours ordered by most recent comment. Of course if you hadn't logged in for a week, it'd show everything since you last logged in. Would that maybe be better?
Cheers

I love the deck comment inbox. Now my vain and in-vain confirmation that no one has commented on anything happens much faster!

I know this is a bit late, but I've just edited the query, so that it will show decks with comments in the last 2 days from the current time OR any comments since your last login.

Are we thinking about comment-on-comment notifications yet? That would be a pretty nice feature.

I've wanted to do this for so long, maybe I should just do it. Maybe to begin with it can just be a simple checkbox next to the comment box that says "receive comment notifications" and then whenever anybody comments the system checks for subscribers, emails them and unsubscribes them (to avoid mass spammage). It can send out a simple email saying "X has replied to your comment, here's a link to it." with a link to the deck.
