Im making a saproling valakut deck.

Rulings for Life and Limb say that the saprolings are not basic lands, meaning blood moon will have them enter as mountains (and trigger valakut :D).

Since forests become saprolings additionally, are my forests then nonbasic lands and hence mountains? meaning I can no longer get green mana from lands?

Or do the forests stay basic?


crap... I just realized this wouldnt work. Valakut turns into a basic mountain.... any way around this?
