Knights vs Dragons - New MTG Hopeful
Alright I'll keep this short. I'm brand new to MTG. All my friends have been on me about playing it. The UNI i'm going to has a mass mtg and dnd population as-well as anime clubs etc. (Which is cool, cause in HS to be popular I had to pretend to be things I wasn't.)
Anyhow I was at a local target and saw Knights vs Dragon two decks for $19.99. And being new and being told to start getting into mtg, i thought buying premade decks would be a good idea. I planned on Red/White so this looked great.
Using both these decks does anyone have a combo they recommend? (Like using both the cards from each deck to make one.)
Thanks <3

ummm the knights vs dragons deck is good if ur playing casual with your friends but your not gonna be able to play it in FNM cause all those cards are outdated i would have gotten an event Deck or a Intro deck to get started rather then the duel deck

I'm just a tad confused.
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?output=compact&action=advanced&set=%5b%22Duel+Decks%3a+Knights+vs.+Dragons%22%5d
The majority of them:
Format Legality
Modern Legal
Extended Legal
Time Spiral Block Legal
Legacy Legal
Vintage Legal
Freeform Legal
Prismatic Legal
Tribal Wars Legacy Legal
Classic Legal
Singleton 100 Legal
Commander Legal
But "standard" is not listed there.
How can I check for which of these cards are legal? (Besides the lands, I'm sure some of them are! I'm assuming all the lands are legal (basic at least.))
We'll I"ll have to find a new deck.
How's this?

Or do you have a tourney regulation Knight/Elf (W/G) deck for under $30 if I ordered the cards?
