Deck challenge: Dual decks Hope vs Despair
Hello everyone! The challenge for you all here is to make a set of two decks that encompass "Hope" and "Despair"
Obviously Hope needs :manaw: and Despair needs :manab:, but I leave the rest up to you. In classic dual deck fashion, making the decks able to fight against each others' tactics, but this is also up to you.
Have fun with it, and I'll probably post up my own ideas later :D

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=219385 -This is my hope deck, I haven't completed its counterpart yet, but this is my line of reasoning: The black deck will be based primarily around infect, with some heavier backup for emergencies. The white deck is based primarily around lifegain, with leeches to get rid of poison and Ajani to help counteract infect damage. Then, when they are tough enough, you whispersilk at your opponent with your Pridemates for victory.

Here's my despair deck, I changed my plan slightly, now the way it works is that you Dark ritual out a Reaper of Sheoldred to stall and infect, and Sorin Markov to destroy the Pridemates before they get big and to gain some life, when your opponent is infected, you proliferate using contagion engines and Grim Affliction and take your opponent down. Still an opposing strategy that can counteract the Hope deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=219391

I haven't built a lot of dual decks but here is my attempt:
For the Hope deck:

Which is basically a life gaining deck with a few creatures as blockers.
The sole purpose of which is to hold out until the big hitters arrive.
For the Despair deck:

This is a simply a cruelty deck made to tear appart the opposing players board and life points.
I honestly tried to keep the decks fairly easy and even. The Despair deck may be a little over powered but that is essentially what I wanted to give the Hope deck a hard time.

For the despair deck, mill seemed to be way to go, because fewer decks have made me feel more powerless than some good milling: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=221059
For the hope deck, I fooled around with the idea of doing a R/W based around cards that say "flip a coin," and you would "hope" you win the flip. I finally settled on a semi-decent white protection deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=221234
