Vampire zombie deck

I am new to the whole magic thing. i know how to play and the basics but that's about it. I want to make a vampire zombie deck. something i can play and kick butt with. i want to have fun playing it too. im not sure where to start i have a lot of vampire and zombie cards but not sure where to start when putting them together. i might just throw some cards together and see where it gets me. whats the best ratio of creatures spells and lands?

a good place to start is 24 land and 36 non-land, but that's a recommendation. Each deck's going to have different needs as far as this stuff is concerned. Pack your deck with a bunch of 6+ CC spells and you're gonna need more land. If you don't care what format your deck's in (which is probably not relevant since you're just starting out) then I'm gonna move this thread to the Eternal forum so you can get better help. Still, welcome to Magic and I hope you enjoy it just as much as we have, if not more.
