Has anyone heard of it?
Pretty much you take a bunch of cards. Each player shares one library, but different hands and fields, and each player plays as though they had an emblem with Richard Garfield, Ph.D.'s effect. You play cards as though they were different, but can only cast one card per game.
For example: if someone has a card with the mana cost of :manar:, then they could play lightning bolt, or flame slash, or any other card with the mana cost of :manar:, but if someone casts lightning bolt, then no one else can cast lightning bolt for the rest of the game.
Also all lands are Utopias. They are basic lands that tap for any color mana, but do not have the sub types of Island, Plains, Swamp, Mountain, or Forest. So cultivate can fetch them out, but you can't fetch your library for an Island.
Within my circle of friends we have the rules as:
Legacy
No alternative win conditions
No alternative loss conditions
No imprint
and it is usually very balanced.
