Artifact Deck Help

Hey guys I am looking to create an artifact deck because I have become bored with my red one. I know that new cards are coming out July 15 and hopefully those will be able to bolster what I have created. This is what I have so far. I know I need to remove quite a bit but not quite sure what. These are the cards I have in the deck making process right now. Any suggestions would be great. I am new to artifact decks and just played a burn deck for a while. Thanks!

if you could, i would throw 4x memnite, 4x ornithopter, 4x palladium myr, 2x wurmcoil engine, 4x tempered steel, 4x steel overseer, 4x glinthawk idol, 4x master's call, 4x eldrazi's monument....just for starters:)

Also, a lot of the cards your mentioning in this lineup are not Standard legal anymore. Are you building this deck for Standard or Extended play?
