Standard Deck Development
Inspired by surewhynot... :)
So, browsing around some decks in the vault I came across some really interresting standard legal Extraction decks. I've had the idea before, but never tried to put the deck together. Well with the addition of NPH and being inspired that it could actually work, I set out to make my own. I've tried probably 5 other builds, but was having a hard time finding one that worked well. I think the main problem with my other builds was that I didn't include BSZ (I need to just break down and buy a playset). I tried a B/w build that used DoJ, but that still wasn't good enough. Well, this build got away from the control theme, and added a few more threats, which might be a huge weakness for the deck. I'm still trying different things with it, so I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for looking.

In my testing, I've found that a first turn Inquisition of Kozilek + Surgical Extraction can be really potent. Being able to take out a players set of Mana Leaks, Squadron Hawks, or Stoneforge Mystics is pretty awesome. And if you're on the play then a T1 Trickster, then T2 IoK + Extraction is good.
