B/W Infect Deck

hello everyone! i am just picking up mtg after a 10 year hiatus and am working on some std decks that i may take to tourneys and was looking for some input.

if you could take a look at my deck and let me know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'd suggest swapping out Arrest with Forced Worship. Because you're able to tap down your opponents creatures, and then kill them off with the Assassin, I think Worship will serve you better, as you can move it around to whatever creature is currently the biggest pain.

This deck seems to play out more controllish rather than straight aggro, so you might be better off with trading out some of the less powerful Infect creatures for some more control spells, like Inquisition of Kozilek and more creature removal like Doom Blade and Go for the Throat.

Caress of Phyrexia is a pretty good finisher, but the problem is, what if your opponent is only at 5 poison and you can't get in there. I'd suggest finding a way to add in more Contagion Clasps, or other ways to proliferate, like Tezzeret's Gambit.

Finally, Phyrexian Crusader is easily the best infect creature that black has access to, I'd definitely bump him up to a 4 of.

Arrest? you mean Pacifism? the only thing i dont like about Forced Worship is that they can still block, unless i am able to tap kill it.

i've play tested it with a couple buddies and it feels like more aggro to me than control because im constantly pumping out creatures.

i might add some blue in to try gambit, thats a good idea.

I'm only working with the cards i have in my possesion as of now, but i will try to see if i can't improve it. i had contemplated dropping the assassins and souleater combo all together, as i haven't been getting enough time to play them both.

i would take out the vector asps, not really worth paying the extra land just to give him infect for the turn. also, may want to work in some virulent wounds or vampire bites as well. could prove useful, especially with rebound.
