I'd suggest 1 less Sun Titan and 1 more Stoneforge Mystic. Stoneforge is an absolute powerhouse.

I'd also suggest dropping the Journey to Nowhere for more instant speed removal. Maybe Dismember?

good suggestions. all but the journey. its my favorite form of removal. i have doom blades and GFTTs if i gotta be quick about it. dropping 1 sun titan and puttin in 1 more stonforge and then playtests. cheers!

Axe the splicer, slap in Mirran Crusader. A Crusader with War and Peace can almost K.O. an opponent in one turn. It's also pro 4/5 colors with only a single sword. It's not pro-Jace, but I've seen my friend kill an opponent in a tournament turn 4 when he went first (he was running Bant blade, but similar concept).

And then for mono-red decks, side in Phyrexian Crusader and quickly infect them to death. It's hilarious!

The only problem is Doom Blade and GFTT don't work on creatures like Vault Skirge and in some cases even Phyrexian Metamorph. Journey just may not be fast enough to handle these ones in the right decks.

Maybe you could even consider a few Vault Skirge for your deck as it can be a turn 1 drop, has flying and lifelink. And as mentioned, evades both Doom Blade and GFTT. Equip him with a sword and it's hard to not chump block it at all times possible.

that is a large amount of hand discard, perhaps too much. There gets to be a point in the lategame where all that discard becomes dead draws. I would probably cut at least two of the discard spells, the despises if I had to be picky.
Also, not to be a stickler on naming conventions but...this ain't Caw-Blade. Caw-Blade is always W/U or W/U/x for Stoneforge Mystic and Jace the Mindsculptor.

Also, if you wanna be able to cast the sun titans consistently, you're going to have to raise your land count to at least 24, if not 26. 22's good if you're casting up to 3-4 drops (and not many of those at that), but six drops are not going to show up on time with that few lands.

i guess i figured caw-blade was just the stoneforges with hawks. dropped the splicers, main boarding both crusaders. cut down on the discard. kept 22 lands. sun titans are down to two and i am mainboarding body and mind now. lost finals last friday to a mirror match that ran body and mind. i was wooping his a$$ both games i was in like the 50's for health and he was less than 5 both games and milled me out. it seems to be running a lot smoother.

I'm likeing :manab::manaw: builds. I just built a :manab::manaw::manag: build for Fana Shamans. I'll post my list when I get off work, and maybe you can take a look at it. Mine's a lot different, but may give you some ideas.

Thanks for the comment on my deck. I'm really liking the addition of Fauna Shaman. Seems to make the deck so much better when I can search for the creatures I need in a particular situation. I took this advice and took out 1 Nighthawk for a Wurmcoil Engine. I've only played a couple games with it since the switch, but it seems pretty good.
