Essentially a mono black control deck. Use early discard to help keep your opponent in check, and then use your creature removal to keep it clear.

Abyssal Persecutor + Glistening Oil creates an unstoppable 6 turn clock.

Glistening Oil is also an amazing removal spell. It takes a few turns to kill things off, but it gets returned to your hand instead of hitting the graveyard.

Obliterator does crazy things in this list also, you should fully expect him to win games for you when he starts attacking.

I'm going to be doing some match reports for the next few days on my blog for this deck. I just need to tweak it a little more and get used to playing it.

Let me know what you guys think :)

Looks fantastic, just don't like the Glistening Oil. It's a great card in general, but isn't exactly required for the deck at all.
To removed the Abyssal Persecutor all you really need is Mortarpod.
And this works rather well with a Mimic Vat in play. Sac the Persecutor to the Mortarpod for 1 damage, and Mimic Vat the annoying little demon.
Just my view on that, I just don't see a need for infect in the deck, let alone a ticking time bomb on a creature that I personally would rather get rid of own my own accord in comparison to a clock value on it.

Hmm, I'll try that out. Mimic Vat plus Mortar Pod plus Abyssal Persecutor sounds pretty broken :)

Even if you wanted, you could splash :manar: for Fling to give it some love. LoL
