First deck in 15 years... anyone care to comment?

I stopped playing MTG in homelands.. but have recently decided to get back in and try to play a few games... I picked up a few booster boxes of the most recent 2 expansions (the first 2 mirrodin ones) and this is the first deck I've come up with... any suggestions or comments?

I highly suggest that you use the Vault's neat feature: use the hand sampler and look at your next four expected draws. Do this 10x to 20x at least.
What kind of hands are you drawing?

I suggest this because I only did it twice and it revealed a serious flaw with your deck. Not enough mana sources and no mana ramp combined with too many high casting cost spells is a poor combination and will cost you many a game and match. And that is regardless of the meta game.

If you prefer 1) a deck with a low ratio of mana to spells and 2) a deck with no answers (no creature removal, no artifact or creature removal, no manland removal....then:

Your deck has to be able to win with speed. Do you want to win with poison or standard damage? Like the Red Deck Wins variants these decks generally have to control the game early before their opponent can get enough of their resources into play and block attackers. Many of those duels depend on the player top decking that final direct damage spell, etc. rather than a land, if they don't win early, before their opponent's deck overwhelms them. And Red Deck Wins generally wins its first game so quickly that after sideboarding the opponent has plenty of time to win the next two games of the duel and therefore the match.

A few red, fast decks surprise at smaller, lower round tournaments. But for larger, 8 round tournaments Valakut-Titan, Caw-Blade, and Vampires are still the dominant meta-game. But for FNM or where you play a fast artifact deck can work.

I had another fellow pretty much explain the same thing to me... and he made some excellent suggestions that I've followed (as much as my short term ability to obtain cards is)... so I've re-built the deck with speed and smaller casting costs in mind (mostly to the suggestions of someone else)

I've updated it now... as you see, its a lot quicker... I plan on adding another overseer, anji and mox as soon as I can find them...
