MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Tribe-o-matic
Hello fellow deckbuilders! Seeing how much fun DedWards' "name a card" topic is, I decided to make a similar challenge. In this one, we will progress the same way...One person makes a deck, then names a creature type/creature theme for the next challenger to make, etc.
I'll begin with my new Golem tribe.

Hoping you mean Fish the same way most legacy players do Ded, otherwise I've egg on my face.
Currently :manau:/:manab: fish, which I'm actually starting to enjoy

Next Tribe if correct: Elephants
If incorrect, I'm working on an actual Fish tribe :D

Not quite what I meant by 'Fish', but oh well, it doesn't matter. The word 'Fish' in my post above has a link to a list of fish cards.

I was tempted to make a replacement for the lost fish deck, but all the cards I'd want to play were actually jellyfish and starfish. :P
If anyone wants to try, here are the 16 legit fish: Fish
(But carry on, the next challenge is still Insects)

I didn't, actually, that's just a link to the fish creatures in case someone else wants to try.
Anyway, I procrastinated studying by making this insect deck. :P

The idea is to get Shockers and Barbed Shockers through with Liliana's Caress on the board. Terminate, Go for the Throat, and Giant Ambush Beetle increase the odds of getting through, but the most direct method is Goblin Tunneler, which also lets you finish your opponent off with an unblockable Nantuko Husk.
Howling Mine ensures your opponent still has cards to discard and increases your odds of drawing a Caress. Deathcloud synergizes with Caress and Mortician Beetle, and Swarmyard had to be in there as the only tribal insect card. :P

If you have more than one sphinx, you have a handful of sphinges--learn something new everyday. Here's my submission:

No one ever said I had to do a good Sphinx deck...this one is off the top of my head, and only "okay."

I really should of gave others time to post one up, but what can I say, I love tribal, and I have a spider deck I play every now and then.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=191901
It's not the greatest deck in the world but it does what it was made to do well. I pull this out in two-headed giant when my team wants a solid defensive knight on one side, so our leader and other knight can focus almost entirerly on the side I am not on.
Next up in the wonderful world of tribal magic is one I am working on atm...
Shaman!
Sub Quest: Sneak in a combo with Eternal Witness for extra points!
Edit: The Shaman deck I put together. Not for Tribe-O-Matic, a place for my EWs.
