MTG Vault Deck Challenges
A Deck Most Evil
The competition is simple. Choose a format, Vintage or Legacy. All cards within your deck must be legal within that format. The deck must be able to lock down the opponent, so they cannot do or play anything to win the game. At all. The final condition for the competition, the deck must contain absolutely no win-condition.
Effectively, you have literally no conceivable way of winning the game (even if it's a 1/1 attacking for 20+ turns, or a single spell that causes all players to lose X life, once you have 20+ lands in play). The opponent can have only two choices: wait an hour or so for you to deck yourself so they can claim the victory, or concede.

I smell a win-condition, mister! :D
Windborn Muse could potentially win you the game with its TRULY OUTRAGEOUS 2/3 power/toughness!
Is there no Defender which has a similar ability? :3

He's right. Replacing Windborn Muse with Collective Restraint would eliminate the win-con. Likewise Iso-seek could conceivably deck the opponent. Still, great deck, and I wouldn't expect you to alter your deck-list for a comp :)
I was thinking something along the lines of Propaganda, et al., and land destruction aplenty. I'm still curious what other people come up with though :D

If it isn't, it should be. Hell, it should be banned in casual =P
...Because playing that deck makes everyone hate you.

it isn't planned to win at all but it indeed has wincon and it's freaking slow... deck was funny in a multiplayer. nad only real wincon is from YOUR deck. If i go to 5 mana i can start spinning it around so i can cast cruel ultimatum 76 times in a row :D

"no win-condition" ? That's a tough one. The only deck I have that can come close to what you want is my Mist of Stagnation and taking out its posible win conditions (Ebony Owl Netsuke, Trickster Mage and Carrion Beetles) opens up 9 slots I don't know what to fill with (maybe some more draw / bounce). Then there's the cards I have that are actually limited in Vintage that'll make 6 more slots (Ponder and Brainstorm), so lets say it's a Legacy deck :p
