MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Deck Challenge: You're doing it wrong!!!
So, if any of you are like me you like trying to figure new inventive uses of things... least of all magic cards.
The goal: showcase a deck that uses a card in a manner that one would not normally expect given what the card says, and what is normally thought of as advantageous. (forcing your opponent to draw cards, any other thing you can think of.)
EDIT:Old post, and thought, before I realized that I really was doing it wrong... You can only equip to what you control...

Old post, and thought, before I realized that I really was doing it wrong...
Example: Grafted exoskeleton: Equipped creature gains +2/+2 and infect. Whenever Grafted Exoskeleton becomes unattached from a permanent, sacrifice that permanent.
Use grafted exoskeleton as creature removal rather than for the +2/+2 infect.
My deck uses exactly that:

(Other ideas: Barbed battle gear, sign in blood)

Use something in a not so normal way? Have you seen most of my decks? I usually try do the 'not so normal' with my decks. My most recent being turning lands into creatures then killing them because they're creatures as a form of land destruction:
Destroy All Lands

my personal favorite way to do something really weird is to use Tainted Strike on an opponents creature (when theyre not playing infect) so that you take poison counters in stead of infect. I've actually won a local tourney with 2 life left when an opponent swung at me with a 7/7 i couldnt block and i gave it tainted strike and killed them the next turn. Best part, you dont even need to be using infect for this to be helpful. Just any old black deck will do lol XD
