MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Artifact juggling!
Greetings Planeswalkers
I am a newbie and has only played 4 rounds of real life and then beaten "Magic The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers"
Now that I am ready to buy a deck, I need your expertise since my knowledge about MTG is VERY limited.
In Duels of the Planeswalkers, I was hooked on Tezzeret's deck Relics of Doom "and therefore are quite sure it will be a deck based on artifacts but I am unsure of what colors I should choose. Personally I am not so delighted with control but I love Tezzeret and his way to juggle with artifacts and therefore should probably be a 2 colored deck.
I've thought about buying the duel deck: "Elspeth Vs. Tezzeret" with a friend where I get Tezzeret's deck and he gets Elspeth's deck and then even spice up the deck with an extra color that goes hand in hand with Tezzeret and his artifacts. Personally I'm glad black but my lack of experience makes me unsure if it is the right choice.
HERE COMES THE CHALLENGE.
* The deck must generally be one of the finished deck you can buy such as intro packs and duel packs. However, it should be adjusted to my needs. (personally, I had considered Tezzeret's deck from "Elspeth Vs. Tezzeret"and then spice it with an extra color)
* The deck must hold in 2 colors of which one of must be blue
* The deck must be based on artifacts and therefore I would really like the deck to contain "Tezzeret the Seeker"
* I am a student and therefore the deck has to be budget friendly.
Some bonus info.
The deck primarily has to be used for duels with friends and people in the local comic store.
I'm relatively new to Magic the Gathering
I'm not that much into blue and it's control theme.
I hate to lose (jusk kidding ;) )

This is one of my favorite decks to run, and it doesn't really need another color, as most of the cards are artifacts. It's all about adding counters to your artfacts, and manipulating all the combos:

If you are considering splashing in black, which would be a perfectly fine, you should look at the new Tezzeret also.

Well, here's the deck me and my brother are working on. It's rediculously overpriced, totaling $102.67, but we had a bunch of the cards all ready, so we figured we'd make it. It's a strange take on artifacts (seeing how it's infect), but I just wanted you to see some of the ideas:
Not Your Normal Infect Deck
The idea is to tap steel overseer for counters, untap him with voltaic key and tap him for counters again. Then, you untap them both with Tezzeret, the Seeker and do it again for 4 +1/+1 counters per turn.

are those still available? thought they had sold out months ago...I would check availability before planning around it. Elspeth by herself sells for about double the cost of the pack so they were in incredible demand and sold out in my city 2 days after release.
if you do know of somewhere that's selling them...please do share =)

I'm back!
And guess what I've got!
I am feling kind of lucky knowing it is kind of rare. :D
Now I've got a little more experience and is now even more keen to get something done on deck. At first I considered to splice the deck with "Infect and defile" but after a closer look, I think it would be a bad idea. Am I correct in terms of that observation?
Do you have some ideas for what I can do to spice up the deck with an additional color? And I would appreciate it if you will give me some suggestions on some tactics since I have not heard so much about beyond Infect.
