Deck Challenge: Common/uncommon Mana Ramp

I just posted a thread on Fast Mono-White, with good success. A couple of real players assisted in the development of a nice mono-white deck.

One thing I noticed is that everyone (myself included) goes straight for the rares to get things done. So here it is...

I challenge you all to create a Mana Ramp Combo (two or more colors) consisting of ONLY COMMONS AND UNCOMMONS. You know... Those cards that us poor people can pay for too.

Provide a "best case scenario" in your deck listing so other people can understand your combo as well.

On Turn #5, the mana possibilities of this combo for my deck could produce 10 mana (assorted).

Please note, a win condition IS NOT included, just the combo.
