Deck Challenge: Lightning Fast White
Mono-White is not traditionally known for being very fast. Show us some of the things have done to make your white deck ultra fast.
MONO-WHITE ONLY PLEASE. (Common Artifacts OK) The first rule of making White faster is to add another color. The secong rule is to add Power Nine cards. Let's see what we can come up with without any of those.
I took on Angels as my speed challenge (known to be slow).
Here ya go:

Very nice!
Did the math...
Turn 1, play Remote Farm, Suspend Lotus Bloom
Turn 2, play a Plains, use Remote farm to cast Gold Myr
Turn 3, play a Plains, use Gold Myr/Remote Farm/2 Plains (5 mana) to cast Gilded Lotus
Turn 4, play Lotus Vale, use Lotus Vale/Gold Myr/Gilded Lotus to cast a 7-cast Angel
Thats one turn faster than mine!
Let's see if someone can get out a MONO-WHITE Turn 2, 6-cast or better creature.

That is an outstanding combo!
Quoted from Deck#132363
Below is the best case scenario:
Turn 1: Remote farm
Turn 2: Plains, Altar
Turn 3: Plains, 2x Raise the alarm
Turn 4: Plains, tap 3 plains, sac 4x tokens ({w}{w}{w}{8} in pool), Play conquerors' Pledge with kicker. Sac all 12 tokens, you gain {24} - cast Emrakul and Conscription (which should be your last 2 cards in hand).
You now have a turn #4 25/25 trample, annihilator 8, protection from colored spells mega bad ass, an extra turn for a definite kill.... And still with {1} mana unspent, in a mono-white deck...
I wonder how likely it would be to draw those seven cards out of a 60 card deck? Probably not too likely, on regular basis.
Truth be told, if we could find another combo similar to that, combine it with this one, THEN we would have a deck idea that would have consistancy.
Keep the ideas comin'...

Using input from both of you guys, I threw this together to give an example of a working deck with the potential to capitalize on one mana combo or the other.
60 cards is a hard ratio to calculate.

I like it. I used Emrakul with Conscription just to prove the possibility of hard casting a mega badass turn 4 in mono-white.
In this deck i think I'd loose the Conscription and add 4x Enlightened Tutor, and loose the Emrakul for Darksteel Colossus. It won't be as stylish, but should be much more reliable. Since we are dealing with loads and loads of mana, I also would like to emphasize the benefits of some X mana spell, such as Martial Coup.

Just added a section in the deck description that shows the math for a 10 hand random draw. Worked out to a 6.6 avg on turn #4.
I'm not too thrilled about only having 8 creature cards in the deck, so I think your right about taking the non-stylish approach.
-4 Emrakul
-4 Iona
-4 Conscriptions
Add 12 proven white spells and I think we have something. The current mana producers have a good consistancy for what they are. I'm not sure how much we can tweak those to make it better. Six out of ten times it produced 7-mana or better on turn four (60%). That percentage would only go up on Turn 5.
Tutor would be a good add, but I feel that the deck loses it's mono-white status if the only win condition is colorless, hence the addition of Iona. It may not be ultra-uber-bad-ass, but I would prefer to keep at least one Angel, Giant, Beast or Archon (etc).

Experiment with Sculpting Steel - when you have a Guilded Lotus in play, your Sculpting Steels become free copies, since you can use the resolved Sculpting Steels to keep paying for stuff.

Guilded Lotus is actually the weak link. Not once, out ot 10 hands, did I have the opportunity to cast it before Turn 4. Two or three times I could have cast it on Turn 4, but would have lost the mana/creature casting advantage to do so.
It's a great card, but is better for the mid-game I think. A very low cost replacement for it would probably be first on the To-Do List.
With Sculpting Steel, The only artifacts "in play" on Turns 1 or 2 usually are the Gold Myrs (Lotus Bloom is exiled). Mana acceleration after Turn 4 will not be a problem for this deck. It's the "jump start" on the first four turns...
As for the creatures, it would be nice to find a "white creature" to combo with Eldrazi Conscription and It That Betrays. ITB is a lower casting cost, plus it adds to to your creature/land count.

Then consider using Thran Dynamo instead of Gilded Lotus, same card but cost "only" {4} and only produces colorless. You can still use it with Sculpting Steel, since it produces {3}.
Also, if the colorless mana is an issue, replace Ashnod's Altar with Phyrexian Altar.
*edit*
Would actually be fun throwing in some Armageddon - since to a point we will not be requiring any land for mana.

Well...
The issue is Ashnod's Altar combo's with the soldier tokens. To cast any white spell, usually you need no more than {W}{W}{W}, plus colorless, to cast a decent white creature. So to lose Ashnod's Altar, I would have to reconsider the soldier tokens. After all, the likelyhood of getting one of the Raise the Alarms off early is pretty good, statistically. 4WW(W?) would be a good guess as to the average mana production for that combo on the turn you plan to use it.
Phyrexian Altar in the same combo would only average WWWW(W?), equal to playing four plains on the first four turns.
Thran Dynamo/Sculpted Steel, again a good combo. But if you go in that direction, you start to lean away from mono-white in your mana capabilities. It would be an absolutely great combo in ramping multiple Eldrazi's quickly.
I think we may be as close to the balance of mono-white mana production as we are going to get without sliding over into the heavy colorless arena. I keep looking, something may come up.

Oh, forgot that Phyrexian only yeals a single mana. Well, it would be killer if we could find some artifact with "{2}: add one mana of any color to your mana pool" ability.
Sadly, since white does not have a single spell for "real" mana acceleration we kind of have to rely on artifacts for the mana stuff, making it sort of natural to skip the white stuff all together. I think the altar/token combo is good since it yealds loads of mana quickly, but it would be a good idea to add petals for additional {w} acceleration, maybe some tithe which should play well with the dissapearing lands remote mine and lotus vale, perhaps even Pearl Medallion.
Otherwise I think I'm out of ideas.

I think we may have come as far as we can, for the moment. Two cast artifacts are possible with Remote Farm in play on Turn 2, but it will be a gamble as to whether or not they will slow the mana ramp or not.
Thank you for your help. Most people just post and run, with no real interest in learning or dealing with the intricacies of real deck building.

I did some more research and came up with another option. This excludes a lot of popular White Accel cards because I found that they do not work well together.
Example: If you plan to use Endless Horizons in your deck, it is senseless to use Tithe, Kor Cartographer or Knight of the White Orchid. Endless Horizons is very possible to cast on Turn #3, making the aforementioned useless.
