for quick infect... hmm...
i'd probably go U/B...
rock some affinity buffing, unholy strengths, cranial plating, and hunger of the nim (if you're going non-standard)
then keep in necropedes, plague stingers, ichorclaw (maybe) , plague rats, and praetor.
for control i'd run maybe some stabbing pain and doom blade.
i would avoid myrs, and resist the urge to make use tainted strike or grafted exo.

however, infect doesn't have to have green or black in it.
i have a very well working U/W infect:

and have made a great U/G and pure artifact (non standard.) don't think you need more than 12 infect cards to have an infect deck. that's simply not true.
