Deck Challenge: Obscene tokens

Hello again fellow deck builders! As to continue on with my "Obscene" deck challenge series, in which I ask for builders to push the limits of a deck type.

In this one, I want to see a metric ass-ton of tokens. I want to have to pull out a calculator to keep track of all those tokens! :D

Have fun!

Oh right. I should have put in that little addendum. I :mad:HAAAAAAAAAATE:mad: Myr decks. I personally think they're extremely boring and have created an obnoxious "cookie-cutter" effect.

So, NO FREAKIN' MYR DECKS! Seriously, a club-footed monkey could make one, so try to make something that...takes original thought.

This is mine. With Darien and Soulwarden you can't be killed! Lots of creature generation as well.

Although I don't have a deck design for it (yet), I know of a 3 enchantment combo that results in you needing to use scientific shorthand to keep count of the number of creatures you'd have :D

The combo is to turn Doubling Season into a creature with Opalescence and then enchant Doubling with Followed Footsteps.

the formula required to keep count is Y=2^n where Y is the number of tokens you put into play instead of 1, and n is the number of doubling seasons. eg:
1 doubling season: 2^1=2 put 2 into play (1+2=3)
3 doubling seasons: 2^3=8 put 8 into play (3+8=11)
11 doubling seasons: 2^11=2048 put 2048 into play (11+2048=2059) :p
2059 doubling seasons: 2^2059=A number with 619 zeros after it.

LOL. I can't take all the credit for this idea :( I got the idea while checking up on rulings for Followed Footsteps on gatherer. Someone with the username Pantheon posted this idea there on 27 Oct 2009 and I just copied that :D

I'll post the design for the deck when I'm happy with it, but that won't be anytime soon.

Okay, I don't think I can beat that, but here's some fun for you.

Harabaz Druid + Jwari Shapeshifter + Turntimber Ranger + Rite of Replication= token mania

Essentially you use Harabaz Druid in conjunction with other allies to get the mana necessary to play Rite of Replication kicked. Doing this forces 5 tokens of Turntimber Ranger to come into play. I'm not exactly certain how exactly this would play out. Either you would get 21-30 tokens or since they all come in together they trigger for each other meaning I think you bring in a few hundred... I don't know the rules so I'm not certain.

Because of how it's worded, they all would enter the battlefield at the same time, but they would also each separately trigger each others' effects. So yes, you would end up with a huge amount of tokens.

I rock a Kiki Jiki + Doubling Season + Persecutor Golem deck
Too tired to post it today tho.

1xDoubling Season in play.
Use Kiki Jiki target Persecutor Golem
Kiki puts unto play 2 Persecutor Golem tokens due to doubling season.
Each of those tokens drop 4 3/3 golems each.
end of turn I lose the 2 Persecutor Golems but keep 8 3/3 golems

with 2x Seasons
Use Kiki Jiki target Persecutor Golem
Kiki puts unto play 4 Persecutor Golem tokens due to doubling season.
Each of those tokens drop 8 3/3 golems each for a total of 32 3/3

(tho 1 lightning bolt makes a mess)

For added fun I tossed it some Simering heats

i'll post the deck up later

This is really F$%^ing awesome, although the odds they will let you pull it of are about 0...

Heres my deck. It's a bit complicated, but here it goes...

You begin with creatures who tap for atleast 3 mana, a Voltaic Construct, and a Turntimber Ranger. Give Turntimber Ranger Splinter Twins. Tap to copy him, creating Wolf tokens and tap your creatures for mana. Play Isochron Scepter with 'To Arms!' imprinted and tap to untap all your creatures, then tap the Voltaic Construct to untap the Isochron Septer. Repeat. Since Voltaic Contruct is an artifact creature, tapping the Isochron Septer untaps him!

The formula for the number of tokens is [(n^2-n)/2]-1, where n is the number of itterations.

Ok you just need these cards:
Cast Through Time
Rite of Replication
Precursor Golem

Cast a "Rite of Replication on Precursor Golem" Gain 20 golem tokens, and 6 Precursor Golems Total. Next turn, use the rebound effect from "Cast Through Time" and target the Precursor Golem again, use the golems effect and bam, 150 Precursor Golems and 1000+ Golem Tokens.:manau::manau::manau:

I think that's a nice idea, but I don't think the rebound of Rite of Replication activates kicked.

It isn't, but the spell is still copied, so you can kick it in response to it being played. It's the same shenanigans that you can do with Sadistic Sacrament put onto a Panoptic Mirror. If you have the mana/feel like it, you can choose to bomb somebody's deck! :D

This is my squirrel deck. We've managed to get over 1,000 squirrels out with this baby before >.>

Rhys + Doubling Season = pure evil

Also, this isn't a token deck, but a +1/+1 Counter deck, which gets insane, especially with Forgotten Ancient out in a multiplayer game.

Also, if you play emperor type games, notice the forgotten ancient does NOT say you have to move the counters to YOUR creatures.

Obscene Token Mana

Although this deck probably doesn't count as Obscene.
