use prototype portal along with mindslaver with lots of other blue creatures everflowing chalice and trinket mage trust me it works.

I played a game against a guy who dropped a vedalken certarch out on turn one a silver myr turn two grand architect turn 3 myr battlesphere turn 4 (and depending on if you get the 4th island you can then start using certarch to tap down the opponent's cards or else use him for 2 mana). Turn five you are tapping down a creature, swinging for 10 + 5 direct damage if you tap all the myr on the board and make the battlesphere blue.

That said, I am not sure if I would play it like this but it worked well when I saw it. :D
