Sorry, I'm too lazy to build a whole deck, but if I were to, I think Precursor Golem+Mimic Vat would definately be the main combo in the deck. Maybe with green so you can give them all +3/+3 for 1 mana with Giant growth...

The only downfall to a deck built around Precursor Golem is that it turns Doom Blade into a "Wrath" card... That's not good...

Uses Asceticism to prevent doom blade and such from becoming a DoJ.

I like this challenge, I like the creature, and I like that it gives me an excuse to dust off my old style(:manaw:/:manau: artifacts).

I use the Leonin Abunas to keep them all in play, and the rites to make lots of them, then a a reckless charge to get them all to attack that turn

This is my Precursor Golem deck attempt.

The idea is play some early blue creatures then Grand Architect to ramp into Precursor Golem, followed by some instants to copy onto all your golems. Pili-Pala can give you infinite mana with Architect as early as turn 3, Ameoboid changeling can make more Golems to draw cards off with and untap with Cirulean wisps. Banishing knack can return all your opponents permanents to their hand if you have enough Golems, and works well with Pili-pala as well.

As a backup plan discard Precursor Golem to Looter effects and use Scarecrone to return to play.
