Deck Challenge: Movie Magic

This is a challenge I've been wanting to post for a while now.

The challenge is simple, create a deck base on a Movie, series, animé, est.
You can base the deck on the movie as a whole, or on a particular character.
Please name the movie, est. and / or character your deck is based on.

Hiya, first deck on MTGVault and first post on the forums.

My deck is based on Starship Troopers, specifically, the battle on Klendathu. Tried to get cards that looked somewhat like the bugs.

I've never seen Wing Commander III, so I can't comment on your deck. :(

I just checked it on Wikipedia. I've never been fond of space games / movies / est. Though there have been a few I enjoyed (very few in number). But cat-people, that has me intrigued :p

Alright, so as soon as I saw this challenge, I decided that I had to make an account and put this deck online. It's obviously not super functional, but the cards line up with the characters and their weapons pretty well. Hope you enjoy it!

Oh, and I thought about adding the Juggernaut as the Party Wagon, but pulled it out at the last minute. Whaddya think?

I loved the Ninja Turtles as a kid. I agree that it'll probably suck as a deck, but it's well themed. I like it.

Hehe, yeah... I had trouble sleeping last night, because I felt like I should have tried a little harder...
This one has four themed turtles, their associated weapons, a better Splinter, Shredder, Krang, Foot Soldiers, Mousers, Party Wagon, Turtle Blimp, and a Technodome. I also put in some creature buffs and cancels, to make it seem more playable. Okay, I'll try to leave it alone now:)

Well being the Code Geass fan that I am, felt I should try to make a Geass deck.

Basically it works around stealing people's creatures and really just ticking them off really.

4x Mindcontrol
4x Renegade Doppleganger
4x Clone
2x Leyline of Anticipation
3x Mimic Vats
4x Doom Blade
4x Black Knight
4x Rise from the Grave
3x Hideous End
2x Wurmcoil Engine
2x Mindslaver

Lands: Haven't decided.

Simply it should work to kill your opponet's creatures or copy them or allow you to take them over. Not very practical but fun.

I never enjoyed Code Geass (probably because of the Mechs - I'm not too fond of Mechs) but this looks like a fun Dief deck.

Ever think of this combination of red cards:
Steal a crature with Act of Treason then before your turn ends, but after attacking, Fling it back at him :D

*dief is Afrikaans for theft (I'm South African).

Yeah I've thought of it. Lots of fun, but you really got to be careful out of the fact pure red decks don't last fairly long. You probably need to be running Naya at least to hopefully make this idea truly effective, but if you're going all the way to play Naya why play those spells when you can play Wolly Thoctar, Naya Charm, and several other hybrid spells?

. . . I will forgive you this one time for not loving the pure awesome that is Code Geass.

Tell me what anime did you like?

Just played a Booster Draft (Alara Reborn) last night and I now have a new love for Slave of Bolas. That card one me a round by stealing my opponent's Knight of New Alara. :D

Do you really want me to list all the animé I watch?
Here's a portion pf the list (off the top of my head):
Bleach
HEROMAN
To Love-ru
Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex
One Piece

The list goes on and on. I prefer comedies and some action, but mostly fantasy and Sci-fi (that doesn't include Mechs - or at least not based around them).

PS: One Piece is AWSOME, everyone should watch it. :p

Meant to do this sooner. My deck is based on Shaun of the Dead, seems like it might play decently casually.
