MTG Vault Deck Challenges
Tribal Element
My store is doing a standard tribal tourney two weeks from now. I always see a ton of the creature types, elf, vamps, rats, ally, and now probably myr. I always want to be a bit different so I wanted to find a type that I am willing to bet that I'll be the only to have. So I want to rock an elemental deck. I am down with running any color though I am leaning toward red and blue. As this is tribal I guess my major focus is keeping the field clear of creatures as best I can and getting in best way I can. Well not any rules to the challenge other than tribal elemental in standard.

It's fairly uninspired.. I put it together without a whole lot of consideration. U/R Elemental / Landfall deck. Hope it's what you're looking for :)
EDIT: Might help if I posted a link :P

Alright, let me just ask you a few questions:
What exactly do you want from this deck? Do you want straight up power and fight? Do you want a decent amount of removal?

I wanted removal but a powerful punch for an exclamation point.

I made my own tribal out of scars, but it's not myr (who needs them and their battlespheres?) Instead, I made GOLEMS!!11!one! Yes, have an army of simultaneously buffed golems swinging away for the win as early as turn 5. And mind you, this is all in standard, so feel free to add in some cheaper cards to speed this thing up if you really need to.

Alright, here you go. A flamekin deck.

Now this deck may not have the amount of removal that you have always wanted, but it definitely can be fun. Feel free to change any amount of cards to make the deck work for you.
Just a few things to keep in mind. A 10/2 with trample is a beautiful thing, but giving it double strike is terrifying. Firebreathing is awesome when it boosts not only one creatue, but 2. And you can always add more removal.

Well thanks for all the help guys. I built two decks one was kinda simple and then redid the landfall one a bit. I am really liking the landfall deck so that may be what I go with.
