Deck challenge: which side are you on?

the main concept of this challenge is to choose between the mirrans or the phryexians. Each deck must be 60 cards. the deck must be standard with som cards only and choose your side.

Here is my Phyrexian based Infect deck. I love how the Phyrexian's are pretty much about the slow death style.

Lysenis the deck is cool but Lux Cannon, Mox opal and Darkslick Shores are with the wrong affiliation. That is what makes this harder than it looks.

make sure you keep the theme please that means equipments, sorceries, creatures, and lands. for example mine is a mirran deck with 4 of silver, gold, copper, iron, and palladium myrs with 2 myr battlespheres 3 myr galvanizers. then for tokens i have 4 myrsmith with 4 revoke exitsance and 4 kemba skyguards. Anyway the point is to keep the theme so take a second look plz.

It might not be a bad idea to explain what you mean for those who are not aware of the affiliation theme present in Scars.

Each card in Scars of Mirrodin belongs to one of two factions. The card's faction affiliation is displayed as a symbol in the card's text box background. For example, Palladium Myr has a Mirran affiliation symbol, while Throne of Geth displays a Phyrexian affiliation symbol.

An affiliated deck (as the OP is requesting for this competition) is any standard legal deck that contains at least ten cards in the main deck that show the affiliation symbol of one faction, while having no cards in the main deck or sideboard that display the opposing factions affiliation symbol.

Hope this helps :)

So then the simple fact that Phyxerians thrive on making other lifeforms "perfect" do not fit the theme? I added the Darkslick shores in because they are like the card Steady Progress. As for the Opal and the Cannon can be swapped but they seem to fit the whole Phxerian theme and seem to be the kind of things they would take an mutate. I believe back in the Urza days they did something of the same.

So then is it considered legal or not? There is way more then 10 cards that are marked for Phyxeria

The deck is not legal because it has cards mark for the Mirran affilation. Thats what I meant. The deck is very cool though.

So then this is a "modified" Theme based affiliated deck. Ok then back to the drawing board. Though I dont understand why (besides the Mark on the card) it does not fit. It would match Phyxeria's style quite well but meh ok.

@Lysenis
If you look in the text box, dead center there is a symbol, either Phryexian, or Mirran. Lux Cannon, Mox Opal and Darkslick Shores are all Mirran, so for your deck to work for the challange you need to swap them out, no matter if in your mind they fit the Phryexian ways.
